Two Bosses Enter … but only One Boss Leaves, in WoW Insider’s series of fantasy death matches. This season’s bosses come from the five-man instances of Wrath of the Lich King.
Aww, come on, you knew this was going to happen … Yup, Skadi the wow goldRuthless spared nothing for poor Dalronn and Skarvald of Utgarde Keep. It was a landslide victory for the PuG-intimidating boss — although a few readers did think the matchup could offer a few twists. “I’m going to give it to D/S here,” nodded Nizari. “Dalronn would eat it from the adds, being the squishier one, and Skarvald makes it to Skadi. Skar has two stuns to Skadi’s one, and remember that even after Dalronn goes down, he still can use all his abilities. So the summoned skellies eat the whirlwind, and more importantly, Debilitate nerfs Skadi’s DPS.”
“I gotta say the duo,” agreed Meethan. “If they could get through the harpoons, then Skadi would be cake for them. It seems like he has almighty attacks — but again, this is on the theory,

The one little problem with having a nice 3-day weekend is that getting back into gear after it’s over can be a bit tough. But here we are, back on the chain gang, nose back on the grindstone, and all that good stuff. Anyway, there are rolling restarts, as well as some minor wow goldmaintenance on a handful of servers. If you’re reading this from work though, it probably doesn’t matter as much, since you can’t play WoW regardless. Unless you’re one of those lucky dogs that has a job that lets you play WoW. In which case you may have trouble doing that this morning.
Okay, anyway, if you’re on those servers or can’t play for some other reason, you’ll want something to pass the time until you can play, which is where we come in. Here’s a roundup of some of the best and most interesting stuff from the past 7 days or so:

Oh yeah, so hey. We’re Wow.com now. Here’s what you need to know about that.
Patch 3.1.2 went live last week. Here’s a rundown of what it introduced.

Ready Check is a weekly column wow goldfocusing on successful raiding for the serious raider. Hardcore or casual, Archavon or Algalon, everyone can get in on the action and down some bosses. This week, we look at the hard modes in Ulduar.
It is a truth universally acknowledged that a raiding guild, in possession of a good enough fortune to cover repair costs, must be in want of a challenge. Rather than make bosses difficult by default, the design of Ulduar is liberally sprinkled with the sort of challenge we only saw hints of before — hard modes.
The idea behind hard modes is to cater for every type of raider. Whether you just want to see content, have difficulty killing it as-is, or fancy spending several evenings wiping to artificial constraints, you can do so. (Note that when I say ‘normal mode’ from now on I mean non-hard-mode, not 10-man.)

The day has arrived. A little while ago, we challenged you fans to get us over 9000 Twitter followers, and somehow, some way, you delivered. So now we have to keep our promises — tomorrow, the WoW Insider Show, which has only ever been an audio podcast, will include video with our live feed, and you’ll be able to see the faces of all your favorite bloggers (for better or worse). Turpster and I will be dressed in our finest threads, we’ll be toasting champagne (so bring your own if power levelingyou want to toast with us, 21+ please), and we’ll host a cavalcade of bloggers and friends of the show on live video. We’ve got some surprises planned, and hopefully Ustream will hold up under the strain — whatever happens, it’ll surely be wild.
The show begins our Ustream page at Sunday, May 24 at 3:30 AM in your time zone (GMT+8) , or you can jump after the break to see an embedded feed. The audio archive of the show will appear here on Monday, and we’ll have a video version on Ustream, but unfortunately Ustream will only save one video

WoW.com readers, it’s up to you to decide the fate of Turpen the Gnome Warlock with Choose My Adventure. Help test the site’s new features by participating in this event, casting your vote toward the many aspects of Turpen and following his exploits on Alex Ziebart’s WoW.com profile!
The polls are closed and the votes have been tallied. The audience has decided that for this little experiment, I am going to play a Gnome Warlock while I track my misadventures on my profile. As mentioned in the original post, most of the decisions regarding this character’s growth will be made by you, our readers. I’ll give weekly updates on my progress via the blog here, but so much more will be happening over on my profile. I’ve already started a photo album which will contain screenshots of my little ‘lock as he goes from level 1 to level 80.
I’ve already rolled the character and I’ve named him Turpen, in homage to a certain Englishman on the WoW.com team. I’ve decided to play a male, because… well, I usually play female

Welcome back to The Queue, WoW Insider’s daily Q&A column where the WoW Insider team answers your questions about the World of Warcraft. Alex Ziebart will be your host today.
So we said that we would have a special edition of The Queue this wow gold kaufenpast Saturday. It never happened. Why? Well, the intent was for it to be entertainment while we all sat in the queue for BlizzCon tickets. Yammer about BlizzCon, get excited, all of that sort of thing. Adam and I put ourselves in the ticket queue, were getting ready to push the post out, and then… ticket sales were over. It was kind of a pointless post at that point! So it never happened. We apologize for that.
The ticket sales went surprisingly smoothly. We’re always going to find something to gripe about (holy crap why don’t they have more tickets) but the whole thing didn’t come tumbling down this year, and that’s such a massive improvement over last year. It was a good thing.
Dusseldorf asked…
“Is there any benefit to converting my account to a Battle.net account? I see

Since we launched WoW.com late last night, we’ve had numerous people writing in about an issue that has cropped up regarding one of the aspects of our tracking addon. We’ll continue to respond to those reports personally as necessary, but we figured it wow goldwould be wise to get the issue and the fix out in the open right off the bat.
The command that’s used for the WoW.com addon’s Adventurer Notes function, /note, is a fairly common command used in various addons. For example, Cartographer makes use of it. Since the command overlaps between addons, it causes conflicts and one addon ends up blocking the others from using it. If you’ve run into this issue, there’s a very easy workaround if you’re not afraid to look at a little LUA. Don’t worry, you won’t need to do any serious coding. It’s a simple fix, I promise.
Open your AddOns folder (within the World of Warcraft directory) and find !WoWInsider. Pop open that folder, and you’ll see six different files. The one you’re looking for is WoWInsider.lua (see

I’d almost forgotten to try to predict when it was going to land, because it’s such a minor patch, and now it’s too late. Patch 3.1.2 is going live today! European players can count on getting it tomorrow.
A minor patch it may be, but it does bring a few changes gold wowof interest:
The Equipment Manager, which was originally slated to be a part of patch 3.1, is now enabled. Personally, I’m still sticking with Outfitter.
The Argent Tournament mounts now have a new look. Old mounts already bought are upgraded to the new look automatically. You can buy both kinds of mounts from the Tourney vendors.
Innervate: This ability has been redesigned to grant 450% of the casting Druid’s base mana pool to the target over 20 seconds.
[Warrior] Juggernaut: Critical strike chance bonus reduced to 25%, down from 100%.
The whole patch notes, including some fun class changes, are after the break.
General
Equipment Manager When enabled from the Interface Options menu, this feature will allow players to store sets of equipment, easily swap between saved sets using

Ready Check is a weekly column focusing on successful raiding for the serious raider. Hardcore or casual, Archavon or Algalon, everyone can get in on the action and down some bosses. This week, I attempt to find common ground with a casual player who’s never raided and doesn’t want to.
This weekend, I spent several hours talking shop with a woman who, as well as being a casual player, also has the unfortunate privilege of having given birth to me some time previously. As well as being my mum, Lynn is a gamer, and a few years ago I managed to lure her away from Guild Wars — where she never got past level 10 — to WoW. She now plays a level 80 enhancement shaman, as well as uncountably many alts (far more than me, and I’m an altoholic).
However, she’s very cautious about group play. She socialises with her guild and has run the odd 5-man dungeon, but doesn’t really understand the scene beyond that. Despite playing more than enough hours to join a raiding guild, she hasn’t, and with raiding now very much accessible to all, I was

Welcome back to The Queue, WoW Insider’s daily Q&A column where the WoW Insider team answers your questions about the World of Warcraft. Alex Ziebart will be your host today. The Queue is generally a weekday affair, but since this Saturday is wow goldgoing to be a busy day for us WoW players, we’re going to be doing a special edition this weekend. You didn’t forget about BlizzCon tickets going on sale this Saturday, did you? I hope not! If you have any BlizzCon related questions, get them in over the next couple of days, and we’ll see what we can do for you this weekend.
Erogroth asked…
“What is the status on the Warcaft movie? I have not heard anything in a long time. Is it even in production? Will we ever see it? Is there even a website?”
There isn’t a ton of public information, but there is a little. The original ETA given some years ago was 2009, but the current tentative date for release is 2011. Don’t take that date too seriously, because it’s just the estimate you can find on imdb.
We also know that the
