A Holy Disc Priest’s thoughts on the new Priest glyphs
A list of tentative Priest Glyphs have been released into the recent beta for Wrath of the Lich King. Since I am no expert in Shadow, I’ll defer an examination of those Glyphs to the resident WI guru. All I can say for the most part is that these Glyphs show promise. I’ll go over the Glyphs that affect the healing Priest (Discipline or Holy) and discuss their application raid environments, PvP environments and otherwise.
Alex Ziebart published his initial review of the Shadow Glyphs earlier today so be sure to give that a read after this one.
Glyph of Lightwell – Increases the amount healed by your Lightwell by 1 to 6%
So here is Lightwell as it is currently in the Wrath beta. As you can see, a level 80 max rank unbuffed Lightwell offers 4620 health over 6 seconds. Let’s assume that lady luck is with you today and you managed to hit a 6% increase. Your Lightwell now heals for a whopping, jaw dropping, fear inducing 4900 healing (give or take). Now is that really worth a Glyph? I don’t

Player-created hairstyles look pretty snazzy
The Blizzard-created hairstyles revealed from a while back didn’t really impress too much — while almost everyone will certainly be trying the barbershop in the expansion, no one I know is running there just to put a certain haircut on. But Kxara has set out with some texture design and a model maker to change all that — she’s come up with some of her own hairstyles, and they look really great.
Some of them are just jokes from real-life hairstyles (the Duke is really funny, and I like the dastardly Blood Elf mustache, too), but some of them really pull off the characters in a way we haven’t seen before. There no afro, unfortunately (or fortunately, depending on how you look at it), and Kxara says that’s because of the low polygon count on the characters — either they’d have to go with high polygons and wreck low-end machines, or go low polygons, and it would look bad for everyone.
With barbershops in the game, Blizzard’s starting haircuts are probably not the last we’ll see

Kungaloosh drink honors Disney’s Adventurers Club
This one’s just for the Disney World fans out there — down in the Orlando resort, there’s apparently a club on “Pleasure Island” called the Adventurers Club that offers shows and drinks every night for Disney’s adult visitors. Just like most of the stuff at Disney’s theme parks, the club has quite a following, and apparently Blizzard devs are part of it. One of the Club’s signature drinks, the Kungaloosh, has made its way into the Wrath of the Lich King expansion. This unofficial Disney newsletter has more — apparently the drink is a cooking recipe that’s similar to the real-world recipe. Definitely a fun little Easter egg for Disney and Adventurers Club fans (and a nod to the sad closing of the club — Disney announced in July that they plan to close it later this month).
Unfortunately, there is no Adventurers Club at Disneyland (located in Anaheim, where Blizzard is and where BlizzCon will be held), which is too bad, because we here at WoW Insider are in

1-60 in 20 minutes
When I first read about Blizzard’s new Recruit-a-Friend program, I thought it was a great way to get friends to catch up quickly. The zhevra mount was just a silly little bonus. The feature that lets players grant a level to a lower-level friend with every two levels had so much potential that it had some players crying out in the forums. Well, WoW Insider reader Brian has actually gone out and done what those players had feared — he leveled a character from 1-60 in less than 20 minutes using the level granting feature.
Certainly, it can be done much quicker, as Brian didn’t have to run into Stormwind’s trade district or stop to show the talent points panel for the video. At this point, speed leveling records from 1-60 don’t mean anything anymore, anyway. Of course, Brian had to level two characters to 60 on his recruited account to get a total of sixty level grants. With Level 80 fast approaching, I think it’s really cool that new players or characters will have a way to rush towards the endgame. After all,

Priest Specs
Discipline (a.k.a. Disc)
How to Spot: They’re usually healing the Main Tank– with Power Infusion, improved Divine Spirit, and a reflective Power Word: Shield, raiding Priests usually have a few points in the Disc tree.
They Can: Be a terrific support class, as well as buff themselves bigtime. Mana conservation is also a big plus for this spec– these guys can pour out heals forever, but they’re not as big as the Holy Priests.
They Can’t: Do the big heals– their healing just doesn’t get as big a bonus as..
Holy
How to Spot: LOLightwell, so called because Blizzard’s big idea (to let Priests create an altar of healing) never really panned out to their expectations. Holy Nova is also a holy talent, but the big tell here is that Holy Priests don’t really die– they just turn into a big ghost and keep on healing.
They Can: Heal, so much so that they pull aggro. Why else would they have a spell that buffs them only after they die?
They Can’t: Lay out the DPS like…
Shadow
How to Spot: They’re

Ghouls and Guys
Ghouls, as a pet, are a little bit more disposable and hard to control than most pets. Used in PvP without supervision, they’d probably just get dragged behind a pillar and killed within seconds.
However, when you take Master of Ghouls, a whole new world is open to you. Not only are they controllable, but a leap followed by a stun or a well-timed spell interruption could end up as the different between victory and death, and this is possible only with Master of Ghouls. This alone may end up being why Unholy takes the honor of top PvP tree.
Of course, this Death Knight still think that they should just give every Ghoul a pet bar. It’s not quite right that one talent can make the difference between usefulness and uselessness for a class feature. Of all our features, Ghouls to me feel the most in flux, and it’d be nice to know how central to our class they’re really supposed to be. They certainly do seem central to Unholy Death Knights.
Protection and Devastation through Diseases
One thing that promises to be a weakness for Death Knights is

Logging in and Out
Many roleplayers do their very best to give their characters a life of their own. Of course, this “life” can only be affected and witnessed while the character is in play. What about when your character and you are logged out? If your character is following the most basic life tract of being a full-time adventurer, are they thought to be away on another adventure and simply out of contact while not in game? That’s certainly one possibility, but with the plethora of chat channels available, it kind of makes that notion seem implausible. Housing, inns and taverns, and even professions, are probably better ways to implement roleplaying where your character is and what it may be doing while not in game.
Obvious places where a character could find rest may be the first choices that come to mind, and rightly so. Inns are expected to have rooms for rent, and tavern keepers may be kind enough to allow you the use of a darkened corner while you sleep off having downed a few too many ales. Houses are especially nice for this, whether it’s your

WoW gold,World of Warcraft Gold
This is what Greg wow gold Street was talking about when he said the Leprechaun was a BDS A&R. He goes and grabs pots of gold that are already out there and claims them as his own for example: Bone Crusher (Neva Scared), J-Kwon (Tipsy), Youngbloodz (Damn), Franchise Boys and Rocko. A deaf man could hear these where going to be hits, but JD was lucky enough to sign these Wow gold buy gold World of Warcraft Gold Wars Gold artists at key periods in Slow Slow Deaths existence. These records have served as life support for a label that should have WoW gold,World of Warcraft Gold, WOW powerleveling, SWG credit Guild Wars Gold,FFXI GIL, been dead years ago.
Michael Mauldin – The wow gold Leprechauns father and former President of Columbia Records. What, you thought JD worked his way into the game? No! He was lucky enough to get handed his position in the game. This explains why he doesn’t really have an ear for talent most of his artist where introduced to him by someone else or they where more gimmick than talent i.e., Kris Kross,
